Forum Rules

(i) Only post in the forum that matches your topic! The board is divided into several forums with sub-forums. If you pay attention and read the titles of the forums, you should be able to figure out which forum to post in.

(ii) No double and/or cross-posting in different forums! Double and cross posting results in off-topic threads.

(iii) Any new thread must have a title with relevant information to the topic you want to discuss. The name of a thread is just like the headline in a newspaper; it helps you to select threads personally relevant for you. Thread titles like 'please help', 'I have a problem', 'please read' or 'what's your opinion' should be avoided.

(iv) Do not promote your own business, Web site or products.

(v) Stay on topic. If you post in a thread, be sure to keep the thread as close to the original post's topic as possible. While yes, other things can come up in discussion when discussing anything, this should be kept to a minimal to keep a thread on the topic the title of the thread is about.

(vi) Add to a discussion. If you're going to agree with someone in a discussion, please actually add a little thingy besides just a basic 'I agree' type response. Again, this is pointless and a waste of space.

(vii) This is NOT a chat room. Make your point, and then come back later to see who replied. For lengthy conversations with one or two people, please use the 'private message' feature.

(viii) 'Pushing' or bumping' threads is not allowed! In other words, do not post solely in order to make a thread "rise to the top" of the forum. If your thread has no response, then after a reasonable amount of time feel free to respond in case it was just missed. This is better than and preferred over reposting the same thread.

(ix) If you want to address a member personally, write an email to that person or make use of the 'private message' feature. Private communication on the forum is forbidden. This is NOT a chat room.

(x) Material protected by copyright should not be posted to the forum without the permission of the copyright owner.

Any messages found to be in violation of these rules may be deleted without warning or explanation. Repeated violation of these rules will result in a suspension of the account.
